About
I am an experienced Visual Arts Tutor / Art Educator who has a breadth of knowledge, running fine art courses and projects over many years both within the UK and internationally. I have worked within the voluntary and statutory sector. I have a special interest in working in mental health and with marginalised communities. I presently work for Oxford Crisis skylight with the homeless population.
Art Tutoring
I teach both individuals and groups traditional and contemporary fine art techniques and methods while allowing the opportunity for people to explore their own unconscious creative process. This process creates an opportunity for people to grow in confidence, self- esteem and can provide a sense of empowerment.
Collaboration
I am really interested in working on collaborative and partnership projects with other organisations and individuals. I particularly enjoy co- leading with facilitators from other art discipline’s.
My own art practice runs parallel with my work at Crisis and one informs the other.
